Depot Tour – Insight Into the Collection

What is the thematic focus of Fotomuseum Winterthur's collection? Which works are in the collection and how has the focus of the latter changed over the years? How are digital works stored and maintained?

During a 90-minute guided tour, participants will gain insight into the collection of Fotomuseum Winterthur which comprises more than 9,000 photographic objects by renowned national and international artists from the 1960s up to the immediate present. Collection curator Alessandra Nappo and registrar Géraldine Feller will introduce individual works, give visitors an understanding of the history of Fotomuseum Winterthur and answer questions about the collection. This guided tour focuses on works by William Eggleston, Teresa Hubbard and Alexander Bircher as well as Teresa Margolles.

The event takes place in German.
