Three voices

Brendle/Weiss: Vocalist Damaris Brendle and trombonist Florian Weiss move on a fine web of melodies, improvising and telling stories, sometimes floating lightly, sometimes grooving earthily, sometimes playfully humorous, sometimes melancholically devout. The two musicians, who live in Bern, have developed a musical language while practising together, which, thanks to its transparency and great joy of playing, unfolds an unexpected pull.

Julia Toggenburger is an author, musician, DJ, organises readings and makes radio in Winterthur. She spent most of the winter in the Blenio Valley looking at the mountains, thinking about erosion and rock, about becoming, passing away and being. She will be reading from this collection with the working title "mein wasserkörper ist eine abbruchkante".
