Reading Hiäsigs - Hanspeter Müller-Drossaart

In his reader Hiäsigs, Hanspeter Müller-Drossaart combines prose texts, proverbs, aphoristic aphorisms and poetry in Obwalden dialect, Uri dialect and High German.

The linguistic sounds that have characterised Muller-Drossaart from an early age lend his texts a special depth and authenticity. It is these tones that make his works unique.

The result is a multi-layered literary panorama that balances melancholy, emotional depths and irony.

In 2024, the versatile artist was awarded the Central Switzerland Culture Prize. Known from film and television, for example from "Grounding", "Die Herbstzeitlosen", the "Bozen-Krimi" and "Davos 1917", Müller-Drossaart is presenting his new work on a reading tour and once again proving his mastery as an actor and word artist.
