In Mais les homards du Titanic, eux, sont encore vivants!, three performers search for a crack in the spiral of history, which seems to repeat itself over and over again. They walk a tightrope, braving the world’s upheavals and searching for a new lease of life.
The show explores our relationship with chaos, collapse and memory. Tense bodies, taut strings and distorted sounds create an almost physical tension: that of a world falling apart. Yet amidst this unsettling loop, a possibility emerges: the possibility of reinvention, of imagining a different place.
Inspired by the Afrofuturist myth of Drexciya, the show transforms historical pain into theatrical material. It is not a statement, but a poetic rebellion. A utopia of resistance. A suspended moment in which art becomes an act of survival.
A powerful, musical performance that unsettles, challenges and rekindles the fire in your legs – even when everything is in flux.
