Rootstock Europa

That’s right: one of the most renowned brazilian Forró Pé de Serra festivals is now coming to Europe! And the vibrant, charming city of Zürich, right in the center of Europe and with all the necessary facilities, is chosen to host this event.

The festival Rootstock Europa will take place from 14 to 16 of September 2018 and will feature many famous Forró DJs and bands from both Brazil and Europe, framed in a dance-till-you-drop festival schedule without breaks or pauses until 5 a.m.! The Rote Fabrik, beautifully located right at the lakeside and close to Zürich’s inner city, is one of the most well-known cultural hotspots, the ideal venue to receive forrozeir@s from Europe and worldwide. Only 1 km away from the Rote Fabrik, right at the Lake of Zürich also, there’s a well equipped camping site ready to accommodate the passionate dancers.

WORKSHOPS
There will be some dance classes (2 hours on Saturday & 2 hours on Sunday) included in the festival pass. Furthermore, we will have workshops apart for those who would like to take more classes of higher quality. Those workshops will be held by 4 teachers and the number of participants will be limited in order to maintain a good quality of the class.
