Zurich, one of the great poetry slam strongholds since 1999! Two German-language poetry slam championships have taken place here with over 20,000 spectators, as well as national and international festivals organised by the "Silbenschmied" label. Current highlights include the legendary poetry slam in the Seebadi Enge, shows at the Schauspielhaus Zurich, the Open List Slam in the Eldorado Bar, slam competitions in the Schiffbau and the Box, the Queer Slam at Millers and the prestigious Zurich City Championships.
