Anna Erhard tackles the big issues with small words. With a trained eye and surgical precision, she dissects the thematic world of a thirtysomething and relentlessly presses where it hurts. On her recently released third album Botanical Garden, Erhard explores the boundaries between classic song structures and associative writing with sparkling imagination and a keen sense for everyday curiosities. While the music on Botanical Garden sounds somewhat more accessible than on Campsite, the lyrics also seem freer and more direct. Anna Erhard is larger than life - despite, or perhaps because of, her height of exactly 1.70 m. GDS.FM (Zurich's radio against the current) is an independent and ad-free platform for music creators.
