Guided tour of the special exhibition

For over 30 years, photographer Markus Bühler has been travelling to Qaanaaq, in the northernmost part of Greenland; in spring 2025, he will make his thirteenth trip there. He was accompanied by his 19-year-old son Nils, who was equipped with a film camera. The exhibition invites you on a visual expedition to the northernmost edge of the world, to the homeland of the Inuit, and to encounters with hunters on the ice.

On the guided tour, you’ll discover the stories behind the images: two fathers, two sons, four perspectives on a world that is changing rapidly. Find out how traditions are being preserved and how young Inuit are relearning how to survive on the ice.
