Selection 26
Artists across the region are hard at work, experimenting and creating in their studios. The diversity and expressiveness of local artistic output is showcased each year in the selection for which applications can be submitted to the Aargau Curatorial Board and the Aargauer Kunsthaus. Based on the submissions for this exhibition, grants and funding are also awarded to artists with close ties to the canton of Aargau.
The selection features around fifty works across two floors of the Aargauer Kunsthaus. Visitors are thus given a unique insight into art from the region.
Please note: The permanent collection is closed during Selection 26. The rooms on the upper and lower floors display exclusively works from Selection 26. The permanent collection will reopen in January 2027.
