‘COLD’ Pop-up Version – a spoken-word piece by Fatima Moumouni & Laurin Buser
In COLD, Moumouni and Buser merge into a single person. This person embarks on a wild journey to escape an inner detachment from the world and from themselves. Sleepless, she wanders through new-build flats and glacial lakes, wellness hotels and stinking swamps, as well as through her own steaming mind. Above all, she must not succumb to indifference! But how can one throw oneself into world events without being consumed?
A politically charged atmosphere, melting poles, social indifference – the second programme by the duo, winners of the Salzburger Stier award, tackles pressing issues and seeks a poetic and humorous way of dealing with them. In the pop-up version of ‘COLD’, the pair present a condensed version of the play, which is on the shortlist for the 2025 Swiss Theatre Festival.
