Each semester, the museum hosts one of the "Lecture Series in Social Anthropology".
This spring, we welcome anthropologist Benoît de L'Estoile, director of research and education at the Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac since 2023.
This museum opened in 2006 as a National Museum of Other Peoples mainly directed to collectors. In recent years, it has developed a number of collaborative research experiments, from Africa to Brazil to North America. What are the challenges and opportunities associated with this shift?

Das Museum ist durchgehend rollstuhlgängig. Für die Benutzung des Lifts wenden Sie sich bitte an den Empfang. Im Untergeschoss befindet sich eine Toilette für Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung, die ebenfalls mit Hilfe des Lifts erreicht werden kann.
Parkplatz
Das Völkerkundemuseum bietet grundsätzlich keine Parkplätze an. Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen dürfen jedoch direkt vor dem Museumseingang parkieren. Hierzu ist eine telefonische Anmeldung erforderlich, weil das Eingangstor zeitgerecht aufgeschlossen werden muss.
