From the mind to the body
Our body knows more than our mind thinks is possible.
How does presence arise – in everyday life, when making music, on stage?
Using techniques drawn from rhythmics, Asian movement arts and physical theatre, we explore the path from perception, through breath and impulse, to movement, voice and action. We discover how musical learning can take place through the body, and experience focus, presence and collective rhythm as a living artistic process.
