I'm annoyed with myself: I missed the Olaf Holzapfel exhibition at Haus Konstruktiv.

As this happens to me more often - missing exhibitions, getting annoyed with myself - I took the precaution of scouring the Kulturzüri agenda. Here's a list of the exhibitions that are only on show for a few more days:

I know that the Jamaican Lee Scratch Perry lived near Einsiedeln, was a legend in reggae, ska and dub and died in 2021. But not much more. My insatiable curiosity and love of music drive me to find out more about this eccentric musician. So I'm off to Cabaret Voltaire for the first institutional solo exhibition about Perry until the end of the month.

Fonts influence whether a poster, a text or a website looks elegant (e.g. Times New Roman), rather unprofessional (Comic Sans), timeless (Helvetica) or as if from the year 2000 (Papyrus). The Museum für Gestaltung is showing the work of Helmut Schmid (1942-2018), who refined his precise and elegant typography with simple Japanese beauty.
