A Hong Kong theatre artist’s quest to search for the true meaning of theatre in society: Why do we witness others’ pain and suffering?
From a personal perspective to international politics, can contemporary theatre practices reclaim the social function of theatre from the Ancient Greek, a space for forming community, which can trespass the boundary of nations, cultures and individual situation?
Answers to the above questions are not guaranteed, but it will be a journey to search for it together.
